Some banks require a Weathertightness Report due to the era a home is built in, or the type of construction method.
Not every inspector is a Weathertightness Specialist, so choosing the right inspector is critical to ensuring the report you receive is accepted by your bank.

Exterior inspection of entire building envelope
Cladding type and construction method (cavity / no cavity)
Thermal imaging on interior of external walls
Capacitance moisture testing on interior of external walls
Overall condition including cracks, gaps, damage or poor details where water ingress could occur
Comprehensive written report provided within 48 hours (photos included)
Follow-up discussion if required
Additional Information• Report is completed by a Weathertightness Specialist
• Report encompasses NZS 4306:2005
• Professional Indemnity Insurance policy number provided
• Non invasive moisture testing is undertaken in each room in multiple locations
• Commentary on whether moisture readings are low, moderate or high.
• Information provided on equipment used for moisture testing
• Date of construction clearly stated
• Recommended remediation or further action needed if required
